Gianluca’s Coffee Cult is a split level speciality coffee shop in Fulham, London. Amy collaborated with Cat Dal Interiors on this project. Our starting point for this clean, minimal design was the logo that was already produced. We took the gold and used it as an accent throughout. We bespoke designed most things in the shop and had made with local craftsmen.
The tabletops were cut to size in beautiful birch ply. The ply layers showed with rounded edges and a white formica top layer for durability and wipeable ease!
We bespoke designed and made the breakfast bar and serving counter using engineered marble to keep with the grade listed look and within budget.
We worked with a local glass maker who made bespoke glass terrariums which are dotted around the cafe and are a beautiful elegant and on trend design item that along with the kokedame hanging plants add nature in the bustly London cafe. The space is a truly serene, clear space to have a coffee with friends on the weekend or get some work done in the week!
Ardour Design were able to put forward a sensible, interesting and practical design conception that was also sympathetic to the listed building.

The prompt work on the concept and design enable us to get quotes from contractors almost straight away and to start the project just a few days after the completion date on the lease.
